Naming Priorities for Arts Education Funding
Recently passed Proposition 28 is anticipated to provide roughly $1 billion annually to California public schools for arts education beginning in 2023-24. Along with the Arts, Music and Instructional Materials Block Grant (AB 185), this funding serves as a catalyst for prioritizing equitable access to arts education for students in schools in Los Angeles County.
Facilitated by Arts Ed Collective coaches, this session is an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from your district and across the County to name arts education priorities and strategies for utilizing Prop 28 and Block Grant funding.
Registration is open to school districts with Arts Education Plans in any stage of implementation.
